Flying my drone over the Great Salt Lake on a warm summer afternoon, I captured its shimmering waters, textured salt flats, and ever-changing shoreline. The lake’s vast beauty stretched beneath me, but with every shot, I couldn’t ignore the reality—this landscape is at risk. Climate change and drought threaten to shrink it further, and one day, it could disappear entirely. Through my lens of my drone, I aimed to preserve its beauty, documenting a fragile wonder that may not always be here.
