Driving out to Stansbury Island, I was hired by a Sephora employee to photograph a model and showcase her makeup artistry in a striking, natural setting. The vast Utah landscape provided the perfect backdrop—endless salt flats, shimmering pools of water in unexpected hues, and a sky that stretched forever. The contrast between the model’s bold makeup and the raw, untouched beauty of the location made for a stunning shoot, blending artistry with the surreal, dreamlike scenery of the island.
